Biodistretto del Chianti has a participatory approach, therefore it lives and grows thanks to volunteer work of who believes and takes part in the project. For us is important to involve as much as possible local players and everyone who shares the importance of organic agriculture diffusion for territory’s safeguard and liveability.

How to join
Biodistretto del Chianti is supported by full and supporting members, both essential for the project.
Joining is simple, just fill out the form and send it to biodistrettochianti@gmail.com
Full Members: they are groups or individuals operating in the organic sector whose whole farmland or activity is registered in the regional lists, organic agriculture specialized advisors, organic products stores and distributors, professional and associations of organic farming or environmentalist movements. Full members must operate in the Biodistretto del Chianti’s territory.
Supporting Members: hey are farmers, companies, citizens, consumers (groups or individuals), environmental organisations, certifying and monitoring bodies, producers’ associations. They can have legal residence outside Biodistretto del Chianti’s territory. Supporting members participate actively in Biodistretto del Chianti project, but without the right to vote.
